Outlook 2007 provides access to our email, calendars, and contacts.  But what many people overlook is how great of an RSS feed reader Outlook 2007 is.   For a General Tutorial on what RSS is and how it can be useful, take a look at this article from the groovyArchives – What is an RSS Feed and How or Why Do I Subscribe to them?  MrGroove’s Article covers the basics around the Who/What/Why etc. of RSS.  Any questions, just drop a note here or in the Forum.   How To Read RSS Feeds in Outlook 2007   1.  Click the Tools menu; on the drop-down Click Account Settings

  2.  Click the RSS Feeds tab, and then Click New

  3.  On the New RSS Feed window, Type RSS URL that you would like to add; Click Add to continue

  4.  This next window will give you customization options for your feed; you’ll be okay leaving everything at default if you don’t feel like messing with this; Click OK to continue

All done! Now you can quickly view your RSS Feed by Clicking on the RSS folder under the All Mail Items list.  Optionally, you can continue adding more feeds to Outlook quickly by Right-Clicking RSS and then Clicking Add a New RSS Feed.

That covers RSS feeds in Outlook 2007!  If you have any questions or comments, please post them below, or Join Us in the Free Technical Support Community here at groovyPost.   Goog tip tho. Comment
